About the Role
Patient Care Assistants (PCAs) provide non-medical support to patients under the supervision of nursing staff. They play a vital role in enhancing the patient experience by assisting with comfort and basic needs.
Requirements
Assist patients with non-clinical needs, such as feeding, grooming, and hygiene.
Help maintain a clean and organized patient environment.
Provide companionship and emotional support to patients.
Transport patients within the facility as needed.
Assist nursing staff with minor tasks, such as restocking supplies.
Observe and report any changes in patient condition to nurses.
Qualifications
High school diploma or GED.
Completion of PCA training program preferred.
BLS certification.
Strong interpersonal skills and a caring demeanor.
Ability to work under the supervision of licensed healthcare staff.
